Joan H. (Cernik) Albers

Age 81

Dearly beloved wife of Robert for over 56 years; loving mother of Eric and Ted; dearest sister of Chuck (Ginny); dear cousin of Marlene (Henry) and Jeannie.

Joan graduated from Rhodes High School at the top of her class. She received her bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University, of Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoyed a long career as a legal secretary for the Walter Haverfield Law Firm and loved all her coworkers there.

For over 15 years, Joan was the director of a Vacation Bible School for the Byzantine Catholic Church.

Joan was an avid reader, loved nature, and was a wonderful cook.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Funeral Services will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at Holy Spirit Cemetery.
